Cyber Snipa LAN-ready Battle Bag Review
Cyber Snipa Battle Bag
For the niche gamer who still prefers to lug an entire desktop or laptop rig and accessories to a friend’s house, conference room, convention hall or otherwise, Cyber Snipa has set their sights on you. Meet the Battle Bag – a backpack and shoulder bag with pockets, zippers, crevices and pouches designed specifically for your computer hardware.

The design of the bag is rugged, yet stylish. Black vinyl makes up the bulk of the bag’s body and includes sturdy zippers, Velcro, a rubber grip and adjustable/removable nylon straps. The Cyber Snipa logo appears prominently on the outermost flap and mimics the streamlined look and feel of the entire bag. Inside you’ll find a compartment capable of housing a large notebook computer and several other crevices to fit your headset, mouse, mouse pad, webcam, game discs, cables, strategy guides and even some snacks and caffeine.
The bag also includes a convenient case designed specifically for a keyboard. I had my doubts when first examining it as I still use an original Logitech G15 keyboard. If you’re familiar with it, you’ll know that its footprint is one of the largest. I’m happy to report that, yes, even the Logitech G15 fits in the keyboard case! Once enclosed in the case, the keyboard attaches snugly to the back of the bag using Velcro and sturdy plastic buckles.

The Battle Bag default style is over the shoulder, but Cyber Snipa has concealed two backpack straps if you prefer to carry your gear on your back or if you’re hiking a good distance to your LAN party. The Battle Bag is very versatile and capable of holding quite a bit of hardware and other goodies. How you store your components inside will always be a personal preference as well as how you carry it.
All in all, Cyber Snipa has built a quality bag for a very specific purpose. Unfortunately, if you’re one of those who no longer attend yesteryear’s LAN parties and simply prefer playing over the wires of the Internet, there’s little the Battle Bag can offer. However, if you prefer meeting face to face with the competition and find yourself at many LAN parties, save yourself the hassle of 4 trips back and forth to the car with a quality, sturdy and stylish Battle Bag.
