While the outside of the Acer Aspire Predator gaming PC hasn’t changed at all, Acer decided it was time for a well-needed upgrade on the inside if this beast was going to stay impressive. And by jingo, they sure did make it impressive.

Here’s the spec rundown:

  • Intel Core i7 950 processor (3.06GHz)
  • Up to 12GB of DDR3 RAM
  • 1TB HDD
  • Blu-ray reader
  • 2 NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 graphics cards
  • 4 DVI-D ports
  • Dual Gigabit Ethernet

That’s a thoroughly remarkable list, but it doesn’t come cheap. Actually, for a gaming PC it’s not exhorbitantly priced, just expensive. This rig will cost about $2700. It isn’t available in the US quite yet, but is expected to reach our shores by the holidays.
